Chromium Hydroxide Sulfate (Basic):

Basic chromium sulfate Cr(OH)SO₄, or chromium hydroxide suflate, is made via the reduction of sodium dichromate solution with sulfuric acid or sulfur dioxide. Primarily used in leather tanning, basic chromium sulfate stabilizes the skin while allowing the leather to retain its structure and strength. Chromic sulfate is also used in chrome plating applications and in chromium alloys, while its green colour makes it a good colorant for paints, textile dyes, inks and ceramic glazes.
