Gallium trioxide is a white powder produced from the element's metallic form. SMI Ltd. stocks and supplies the stable beta crystal form (β-Ga₂O₃), which is commonly used as a phosphor in light emitting diodes (LEDs), as well as in lasers and other luminescent materials. The alpha crystal form (α-Ga₂O₃) is, however, also available upon request.
