About Gallium:

Gallium is a lustrous silver metal that melts at just 29ºC (84ºF). The metal naturally occurs in bauxite ores and is primarily extracted as a by-product aluminum smelting. China is the predominant source of the metal, accounting for approximately three quarters of the 300 to 400 metric tonnes refined annually around the world. More than half of all gallium is used in the production of gallium arsenide wafers for electronic use in electronic devices, such as smart phones.
