Scandium metal:
Scandium is a very light elemental metal that is often found alongside the rare earth elements. Due to it's rarity and high price, scandium does not have a lot of commercial applications, but is used in specialty halide lamps, as well as lightweight, high-strength alloys. It is estimated that only as little as a couple hundred kilograms of scandium metal are produced each year.
