Application:

High purity tungsten is used in the electronics industry because of its high resistance to electron migration, high temperature stability and tendency to form stable silicides. Tungsten metal is also used in many other high temperature applications, such as light bulb, cathode ray and vacuum tube filaments, heating elements and rocket engine nozzles. Due to its high melting temperature, tungsten is also suitable for many aerospace applications.
