Antimony Trioxide (Sb2O3) is a white powder primarily used as a fire retardant in plastic insulations, but also in electronic devices, filling agents pigments and as a catalytic agent in organic synthesis. Of the approximately 130,000 metric tonnes of antimony trioxide produced each year, over 80 percent originates in China.
